The kiss
by Maddy
The kiss was
Lighted with fire
Burning like a fever
Closing doors of pain
Fleeing from isolation
Allowing myself one secret pleasure
Unwrapping me
Life supporting me
Heart changing
Thrusting me on a new path
Battling with pain, but also possibility
The kiss was
Strength, embracing me
Challenging me
Exploring my strength
Conjuring my greatest fear
Drying my tears
Separating body parts
Believing in a new start
A single moment, or a million years
Let time stood still
As I took the longest journey
That Begin with a single kiss.
THE END
