Whisper
by Liz
am the girl standing in the center of the room
I am the girl who walked right
by you without even a glance
I am the girl in the room that
steer you in to a quite corner
I am the girl in the room who let your mind slipped into its running
Treadmill of endless,
circular thoughts of broken sleep
and tormented, reproachful dreams.
I am the girl you assumed would
never give you the time of day
I am the girl that have proved
your assumsions right
I am that girl that makes
you see how ugly your girlfriend is
I am that girl in the room
that ask your girlfriend if she works here
I am the girl that you will leave this room with
I am the girl, the reason
your girlfriend will get laid tonight
I am the girl the whole performance
will be based upon
I am the girl that let the whole night
universe seemed alive
With sighs and sounds and
whispers and shy forays.
I am the girl in the center of the room who will never give you a glance.
